  • AccelRate’s principal product is the world’s most advanced battery charging technology. The unique and proprietary AccelRate technology can be used with lead-acid, nickel metal hydride (NiMh), nickel cadmium (NiCd), lithium ion (Li-Ion) and other specialty batteries powering equipment large and small, from cell phones to fork lifts to electric vehicles.

  • AccelRate’s initial products are designed to address the wide range of chargers required for the forklift industry. The AccelRate Smart Charger products include sizes SC180, SC260, SC350 and SC500, designed to handle a multitude of voltages and capacities as they adapt automatically to battery voltage, capacity and state-of-charge.

STRATEGIC RELATIONSHIPS

  • AccelRate and Hawker Powersource Inc. signed a license agreement in 2005 for the manufacturing and marketing of battery chargers throughout North America, incorporating AccelRate’s patented technology. The Hawker brand-name of industrial batteries is the world’s largest.

ACCELRATE PRODUCT DISTRIBUTION

  • As part of the license agreement, Hawker is manufacturing a private label line of chargers for AccelRate, which are being sold by AccelRate directly or through aftermarket distributors, including Papé Material Handling and Carney Battery Handling, to the vast motorized materials handling industry.
